What a weekend it was in University of Limerick from 18th to 19th August. Thousands of kids came to Limerick to run, play and jump! Medals galore and some sunshine added to the smiles on everyone's faces.
For the first time ever we live-streamed all our races and had a big screen on campus of 25m2 so that no one missed out. We also filmed most events and you can visit our Facebook page to relive your favourite moments.
Paul O'Connell, Ciara Neville, Molly Scott and Michéal Donoghue joined us over the weekend to hand out medals and to support the children.
We also had great interaction at our 3 sponsor zones - Aldi, HSE and Kia Ireland and we were delighted to see children of all ages eating and drinking healthy and wearing some very colourful Make a START t-shirts!
All the results from the weekend are here.
As usual Sportsfile were our go-to photographers on site as well as our volunteers Anthony Leonard, Michael Brophy and Joe Sheeran!
Calling all Sports Clubs!

Athletics Ireland require over 500 marshals for the event, so will be more than happy to take groups of any size (big or small!) All marshals will also receive a goody bag and tee-shirt.
