This is a County Event. There are no Regional or Provincial Finals in this event. Two to qualify from County to National per Event |
- An exhibit must be based on a Community Games Activity.
- A Competitor must enter one exhibit at each level of competition.
- Any materials may be used except aerosol and spray paint
- A supervised competition must be held at both Area and County level.
- The title of each exhibit must be clearly marked on the front of the exhibit.
- The Competitor, under the supervision of the adjudicators, be required to create his own choice of model in accordance with Rule 1. Time allotted will be 3 hours.
- The Competitor is required to bring unprepared materials. All materials and equipment will be subject to the approval of the coordinator/Activities Director. Use of power tools and sharp blades are prohibited. Failure to obey the direction of the coordinator’s will automatically lead to disqualification. Prepared items/materials will not be permitted; coordinator’s/Activities Director decision is final.
- Adjudication will be based on:
- Observation of Events: 20 Marks
- Creativity and Originality: 30 Marks
- Natural Ability: 50 Marks
10. Maximum size of an exhibit will be 60cm x 60cm x 60cm
11. Model making will feature as part of the exhibition at National Festival and cannot be removed until the exhibition is over. This will be communicated before the National Festival event commences.
