President Gerard Davenport

Director - Gerry Davenport
I have been involved in Community Games for 15 years. I got involved at Area level because my children were competing. They have since moved on and I am still involved.I have performed duties as Team Manager and County Manager for County Donegal at National Finals on several occassions. I am the current Chairperson of Donegal Community Games, a position I have held for 10 years. I am also Vice Chairman of Ulster Community Games.

I have been involved in many roles at National Level. I have previously served on both the Security Committee and Standing Orders Committee. I was elected National Vice Chairman at the National A.G.M. in Sligo in 2002. I took up the role of Chairman on a temporary basis due to the untimely death of our then Chairman Mick O Brien. I was elected Chairman at the National A.G.M. which was held in Letterkenny in 2003. I remained Chairman until the position was amalgamated with the role of President in February 2006. I remained in the role of President until the National A.G.M. in February 2008. I was elected as an NEAC Director in 2009 and was re elected to that position in 2010. My role on the Board of Directors includes a review of the present Programme of Activities and I am also Assistant to the Activities Director.
